Christina Vaughan is president of Sonic Restaurants, Inc. (SRI), Sonic Corp’s division of company-owned drive-ins for the Oklahoma City-based national headquarters of SONIC®, America’s Drive-In®. In this role, Vaughan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of SRI operations including field marketing, finance, risk management and human resources for SRI drive-ins.
Vaughan started her career with SONIC in 2002 as a field marketing representative for the Central Region. She was promoted to regional marketing director in 2006 and in 2010 was promoted to regional vice president of the Central Region. Starting in 2013, Vaughan held the position of vice president of market strategies, and in 2014 she took the lead of the systemwide 20/20 Drive-In project. Prior to her current position, she served as vice president of franchise operations and was responsible for guiding franchisees in all aspects of operations including all areas of business planning, compliance, people, operational standards and guest experience.
Prior to joining Sonic, Vaughan served as a SONIC account executive at Barkley Evergreen and Partners, Inc. in Kansas City, Mo.
Vaughan holds a bachelor of science in communication management with an emphasis in public relations and a marketing minor from Southwest Missouri State University. She also received a master of business administration from Northwest Missouri State University.
