Christi Woodworth

Vice President of Public Relations

Christi Woodworth serves as vice president of public relations for SONIC®, America’s Drive- In®, part of the Inspire Brands family of restaurants. Inspire is a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 8,300 Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, and SONIC locations worldwide.

Woodworth assumed this position in February of 2015 and leads public relations and communications strategy for the SONIC brand. She is responsible for public relations support of marketing, social media strategy, franchise development, social impact, including SONIC’s award-winning Limeades for Learning® cause branding program and community relations, as well as franchisee communications. As chair of SONIC’s crisis management team, she guides the brand’s crisis preparedness to protect customers, team members and the brand.

Woodworth has served in a variety of marketing and communications roles since 2005 when she joined SONIC as director of external communications. Prior to joining SONIC, Woodworth was national director of development for Heifer International, where she created that organization’s major gifts program and led a $100 million capital campaign. She previously worked in Oklahoma City at the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools and Allied Arts.

Woodworth earned an MBA from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. She was named as an Advertising Working Mother of the Year by Working Mother Magazine and the Advertising Women of New York in 2014.

Woodworth serves on the boards of Angels Foster Network Oklahoma is past president of the AFP-Oklahoma chapter. She previously served on the board of the Junior League of Oklahoma City and as a member of the Central Oklahoma Teen Pregnancy Prevention Steering Committee. She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Association for Women in Communications.

Woodworth resides in Edmond, with her husband, Woody, and their daughter.
